M. S. Bricks

M. S. Bricks is located right on the Rourkela Main Road. We are pretty easy to spot because we're near the Rajat Talkies complex, which is a place almost everyone in Rourkela knows. The traffic on the main road can be a headache sometimes, especially when we’re trying to get a big truck turned around and backed into the yard. It takes a bit of patience from the drivers. We’ve been here for a while, just handling the day-to-day business of selling bricks. The yard is usually full of stacks, and we try to keep them organized, though it doesn't always stay that way when things get busy. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. You just walk in, see what we have, and we talk about the price. It’s straightforward. Sometimes the bricks come out of the kiln a little darker or lighter than the last batch, but that’s just how it is with this kind of work. We have a few guys who handle the loading, and they’ve gotten pretty fast at it over the years. We aren't looking to become some giant company; we just want to keep doing what we're doing. It’s a lot of hard work in the heat, but seeing the buildings go up around the city using our bricks feels alright. We just keep our heads down and get the loading done before the sun goes down for the day. It is how we do things.
