The Civils

The Civils is located at 254-Jawahar Nagar in Srinagar. We are right opposite the Cash N Carry, which is a big landmark around here. It’s a straightforward place where we help people prepare for their exams. Srinagar can be a bit unpredictable, but we try to keep our schedule as consistent as possible. The building is a standard one for this part of town. We don't have any flashy neon signs or expensive carpets. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of chairs and some bookshelves filled with old guides and newspapers. People come here because they want a quiet place to focus. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Most of our students come because a friend told them we were okay. We try to be helpful without being overbearing. It’s a lot of reading and a lot of testing. We spend our days going over current affairs and history. It’s a bit of a grind, but that’s what it takes to get through. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. The location in Jawahar Nagar is convenient for many who live on this side of the city. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to help a few more people from our area get through their exams. It’s practical, honest work, and we’ve been doing it at this spot for a long time now.
