Pashm Exports

Pashm Exports is based in Srinagar at Jeelani House. We are located in Haider Colony, Lane No: 4, at House No: 19. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the petrol pump in Upper Soura. Our office is part of our home, which is quite common around here. It is a warm and inviting space, especially when the weather gets freezing outside. We have piles of shawls and fabrics everywhere. The colors are very bright and the textures are soft. We spend our days sorting through these pieces and talking to the weavers. We don't have a big corporate office with cubicles. We usually sit on the rugs on the floor to do our work. It is a much more comfortable way to handle the delicate pashmina. We drink traditional tea throughout the day to keep ourselves warm. The house is usually full of family members and sometimes the neighbors pop in for a chat. It is a very community-oriented way of doing business. We handle all the export details ourselves, from the packing to the paperwork. The lane outside is a bit narrow and quiet, away from the main road noise. We don't do much promotional stuff. People know our family and the work we do, so they find us. It’s a quiet life but we are very busy with our craft.
