Mount View Stationers

We have been running Mount View Stationers here in Midoora for a while now. If you know the area, we are just a short walk from Bilal Masjid in Awantipora. It gets quite busy around here, especially when school starts back up in Pulwama. Most days it is just us making sure the shelves have enough notebooks and pens for the students who stop by. The shop isn't huge, but we try to keep a bit of everything on hand so people don't have to travel too far for basic supplies. Sometimes the delivery trucks take their time getting to us because of the roads, but we manage to keep things going. It is mostly a family thing, keeping the place tidy and helping out whoever walks through the door. We spend a lot of time just organizing pencils and chart papers. The winters get cold here, so we usually have a small heater running behind the counter while we wait for customers. People often stop by just to ask for directions or see what new stock arrived on the morning bus. It is a quiet kind of work, but it keeps us busy enough. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just simple wooden shelves and a lot of paper. You can find us easily if you are near the Masjid. We mostly just focus on getting the right books to the kids who need them for their classes.
