Modest Attires

Modest Attires is tucked away at 226 Usmania Colony in Bemina, not too far from the New Oxford School. It is a residential-feeling area, so it does not feel like a big commercial district. Our shop is where we keep all the clothing and fabrics. It is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot into the space we have. You will see piles of different materials and half-finished pieces laying around on the tables. We spend our days cutting fabric and stitching things together. It is a lot of manual work and our hands are usually busy from the moment we open up. Sometimes we have tea with the people who stop by to pick up their items. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of the work we do comes from people living right here in the colony or parents who are dropping their kids off at the school nearby. It is a local business in every sense of the word. We make things that we think look good and are practical for everyday wear. There are no high-fashion runways here, just a sewing machine and a lot of thread. We have had some busy times and some slow times, but we just keep at it because it is what we know how to do. It is a small, honest operation in a quiet part of town where we know everyone.
