Jan Muzaffar

My name is Jan Muzaffar and I operate out of 46 A Badshah Nagar in the Natipora area of Srinagar. This part of Jammu Kashmir, with the pin code 190010, is where I’ve spent a lot of my time. The office is really just a part of the building here in Badshah Nagar. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, though things can get a bit busier during the day. My workspace is pretty basic—just a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and a lot of books and files. I don't have any fancy signs or a corporate office setup. It’s a very personal space where I handle my daily business. Srinagar can be quite cold, so I usually have a small heater near my feet while I work. The windows look out onto the street, and I often see the neighbors going about their day while I’m on the phone or writing. It’s an honest way to work, being right here in the community of Natipora. I’ve lived in India my whole life and this office feels like a natural extension of that. There isn't any polished language or big promises here. It’s just me, Jan Muzaffar, working from this address and taking things one day at a time. The room is a bit small and the shelves are overfilled, but it’s where everything happens for me.
