Pureweave Fashions is situated in the CMA Building, which you’ll find in the Padshai Bagh area of Srinagar. It’s a busy spot near Bishamber Nagar. We spend most of our mornings getting the heaters going because the winters here are no joke. Khyam is a decent place to be based, even if the traffic gets a bit much during the peak hours. We deal with clothing and fabrics here. Most of the staff are locals who have been living in Jammu Kashmir their whole lives. The building itself is older, and you can tell by the stairs. We don't have fancy interiors or any of those modern office gadgets. It is just a place where we come to get the job done. Sometimes the electricity cuts out, and we just wait it out or find something else to do. We pack up the orders and send them out. It isn't a complicated operation. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just walking past the building. We keep things pretty simple. There are no big meetings or long speeches about the future. We just look at what needs to be sewn or shipped today and we do that. Srinagar has a certain pace of life, and we just follow that. The view outside isn't bad if you like the mountains and the old city vibe. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s just how we make our living.
