Freedom Spices

You can find us over at the Khanmoh Industrial Estate, specifically in Phase 3. It is a bit of a trek if you aren't familiar with the industrial side of Khanmoh, but we are quite close to the railway station. You can often hear the trains passing by while we are working, which sort of sets the rhythm for the day. This area is mostly factories and warehouses, so it isn't exactly the prettiest place to look at, but it is where the work gets done. We handle spices here, mostly processing and packing them for the local market. The dust from the spice grinders is just something we have gotten used to over the years. Some days the mountain air is clear, but other days the industrial haze hangs around a bit. We started Freedom Spices because we wanted to do something locally in this part of the estate. It is a practical space, filled with sacks of raw materials and old machines that sometimes need a bit of a kick to get started. Working near the station means there are always people moving around and goods being shifted from one place to another. We aren't trying to be anything big or fancy; we are just one of the many units in Phase 3 trying to make a living and keep the business going through the different seasons we get here. It is just how things are for us, and we are fine with that.
