S. S. M. S. Mill

You can find the S. S. M. S. Mill at Door No.6-3-24. We are located in the Srikakulam district, which is a bit of a drive from Vizag. The easiest way to find our place is to look for the Syndicate Bank or the Sun Temple, as we are located right near both of those landmarks. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of people passing by our gates, especially on the busy holy days. The mill itself is a pretty noisy place, and there is almost always a hum from the machines running. We process what the local farmers bring in from their fields. It is a lot of hard work and our days are usually very long, often starting well before the sun has even come up. We are not some big industrial group. It is just a local mill that serves the farming community in this part of the district. The air around the mill is always a bit heavy with the smell of whatever we happen to be grinding that day. We don't have a fancy office for meetings; it is mostly just the mill floor and a tiny space where we keep the accounts. My family has been running this mill for quite a while now. We know almost everyone who comes through our doors by their first name. It is a simple life but it keeps us very busy. The equipment needs a lot of care to stay running.
