Hotel Nagavali

Hotel Nagavali is located right on the Ring Road. It’s a pretty straightforward spot to find if you are driving through. The road is always busy with trucks and cars going somewhere else, so we get a lot of people who are just tired and need a break from the steering wheel. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations or a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just a solid building on the side of the road. I spend most of my time around the front desk, watching the traffic go by and waiting for the next traveler to pull in. Running a place on Ring Road means you meet all sorts of people from different places. It’s a bit dusty because of all the vehicles, so we’re always sweeping and dusting the furniture to keep things halfway decent. We don’t have a big team of corporate managers telling us what to do. We just figure it out as we go. If someone needs a room, we give them a key and make sure they have some water. It’s a practical way to live. Some nights are quiet and other nights the road noise never stops, but we’re used to it by now. We just keep the lights on and stay ready for whoever shows up at the door looking for a bed after a long day of traveling on the highway.
