If you’re in Padampur and you head down toward the Baba Ramdev Mandir on the New Dhan Mandi Road, you’ll find us. Sant Shri Prannath Parnami T.T. College is right there in that neighborhood. Sri Ganganagar is a unique part of Rajasthan, and we’ve been part of this community for years. We focus on teacher training, which is what the T.T. in our name stands for. Our building is simple and fits right in with the surrounding area. It can get pretty hot here in the summer, so we have fans going in every classroom. The students come from all over the local area, mostly hoping to become school teachers one day. We have a lot of books and charts on the walls to help with the learning process. It’s not a fancy place, just a collection of rooms where we get things done. The office staff is always busy with registrations and keeping track of attendance. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we just clean it up and keep going. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. Most of our students come because their cousins or neighbors studied here before. It’s a very local way of doing things. We take our work seriously but we don’t put on any airs. Every morning starts early, and we stay until the sun begins to set. It’s a predictable, steady life here in Padampur, and we’re glad to be a part of it. We just keep the college running smoothly.
