We are located right near the HP Gas Godown here in Nellore. The specific spot is 26-15-491/1 in Vanamthopukondayapalem, which is a bit of a mouthful to say if you’re giving directions over the phone to a delivery driver or a friend. Mestiny Software Applications Private Limited is just us, a small group of local people working on computer programs and mobile apps. It’s not some big glass skyscraper you see in the movies. It’s a practical workspace where we spend most of our daylight hours. Some days are busier than others, especially when a project is due and we’re all staring at our monitors for too long without moving. We drink a lot of tea and talk about local news or what's for dinner during our breaks. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which helps when you need to concentrate on writing code. We don't really have a front desk or a fancy lobby area with a receptionist. You just walk in and see us working at our desks. It's honest work. We chose this part of Andhra Pradesh because it's where we belong and where our families are. We don't feel the need to move to a big metro city just to do software work. We can do it right here from Nellore. Sometimes we walk over to the nearby shops for snacks in the evening. The weather is usually warm, so we keep the fans going all day. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us. We focus on the tasks at hand, making sure things work.
