Sudhir Shekhri

Sudhir Shekhri is based right in VPO Chawla, over in the Nazafgarh area of New Delhi. It is one of those places where everyone kind of knows everyone else. The office isn't anything too large, just a practical space where the daily business happens. Usually, the morning starts with a cup of tea and checking through the mail or whatever messages came in overnight. Being in Nazafgarh, you get used to the specific rhythm of the place. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city centers, but it’s home. The work involves a lot of sitting at the desk, making calls, and keeping track of various records. It can get a bit repetitive sometimes, but that’s just how things go. There’s no big team here, just a few people making sure things move along as they should. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look bigger than we are. It’s just about getting through the tasks for the day and making sure the people we deal with are satisfied with what we’re doing. It is a straightforward way of working. Most days end with shutting down the computer and heading back out into the local traffic. We just try to stay consistent.
