Jatin Enterprises

Jatin Enterprises is located at F 65 in Shastri Nagar, right near the Socks Market. If you are in New Delhi, you know how crowded this area can get. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We deal in various goods, mostly wholesale stuff that goes out to the local markets. The space is filled with stacks of crates and bags. We have been here for years, so we know all the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s a lively place to work. There is always someone coming in to ask about prices or to check on a delivery. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do business face to face or over the phone. My son helps me with the heavy lifting now that I am getting older. We have a small bench outside where we sit when the shop is quiet. The traffic in Shastri Nagar is always a bit of a mess, especially near the market. We have to time our deliveries carefully so the trucks don't get stuck. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a small counter for the ledger. We use a pen and paper mostly. It is simple and it works for us. We drink our tea and watch the people go by. It’s a decent life and we are happy to be part of the community here. The monsoon season is the hardest because the street floods a little, and we have to put all the boxes on pallets to keep them dry.
