We run our packing and moving business out of Deepika Market, right by the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Being this close to the airport means there is always something moving. The shop is mostly just a place to store boxes, tape, and bubble wrap. It’s a bit cluttered and there’s always a faint smell of cardboard and packing tape. We spend most of our time out on the road in the trucks rather than sitting in the office. It’s hard work, lifting heavy crates and furniture all day. We’ve seen all sorts of items, from old family pianos to just basic kitchen stuff. My crew and I have been doing this for years. We don’t have a fancy marketing department or a polished sales pitch. We just show up, pack the things, and move them to where they need to go. It’s a lot of sweating and heavy lifting, especially in the summer heat. We usually have a lot of empty boxes stacked up against the walls. People in the market know us as the guys who are always loading or unloading something. We aren't a huge chain. It’s just us and our couple of trucks. Sometimes things get delayed because of the airport traffic, but that’s just life in this part of Delhi. We just try to get through each job without breaking anything and then head home to rest our backs for the next day.
