Rajasthan Tourist Service has its base at B - 40 Katwaria Sarai. We are on Tara Cresent Road, right opposite the V40 Qutab Institutional Area. It’s a decent spot because there’s a lot of movement from the students and the staff at the nearby institutions. We spend most of our time coordinating with drivers and making sure the cars are where they need to be. It’s not always easy because traffic in Delhi can ruin even the best plans. I usually have three or four different tabs open on my computer and a phone that doesn't stop ringing. We handle a lot of visitors who are coming to the city for the first time, so we end up giving a lot of advice on where to eat or which roads to avoid. The office itself is simple. We have some old posters of places on the walls and a few chairs for when people come in to pay their bills. I’ve been doing this for a long while now, and I’ve learned that things rarely go perfectly. A tire gets flat, or a road is closed for a protest, and you just have to figure it out on the fly. We don't have a big marketing team. Most of our work comes from people who used us before and decided to come back. It’s just about keeping the vehicles moving and the schedules as tight as we can manage. We stay until the last car is parked.
