Our small team works out of the second floor of building number 38 in Sant Nagar. Being in East of Kailash means there’s always a lot of movement around us, which we’ve grown to like. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few desks, some bookshelves that are mostly full of old folders, and a small sitting area. It gets a fair amount of sunlight in the mornings, which makes the space feel a bit more open. We spend a lot of time on our computers, dealing with the daily tasks that come with running a consultancy. It’s not a big corporate operation with hundreds of employees; it’s just a handful of us making sure things run smoothly. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy bags, but we’re used to it by now. Sometimes the neighborhood is noisy with construction or traffic, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We usually grab some lunch from one of the nearby stalls or the market down the road. There isn’t much in the way of fancy decor here, just some basic office furniture and our personal stuff like mugs and calendars. It’s a practical place to work, and we like being in a spot that feels connected to the local community. It is just a normal office where we put in our hours.
