Jungle Niwas

Jungle Niwas is our place at 62 B in Ber Sarai. We are located right across from the old JNU campus. It is a very lively neighborhood because of all the students and researchers living nearby. There is always someone walking by the gate or looking for a place to stay for the semester. Our building isn't brand new, but it is solid and has its own character. We have lived and worked here for a long time. It can be a bit of a maze in the lanes of Ber Sarai if you aren’t used to the way the numbers go. But once you find 62 B, you are all set. We don’t do much advertising at all. Most people find us through word of mouth or by asking someone on the street. The area has a lot of energy. You can hear the sounds of the campus and the local tea stalls all day. We keep the place running as best as we can. It is a practical setup for those who need to be close to the university for their studies. We don don't have a big corporate staff or a cleaning crew. It is just us taking care of the daily chores and maintenance. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, or a light bulb in the hallway needs changing, and we just handle it. It feels like a real home here. We like the mix of people.
