Our office is tucked away at B 4/45 in Safdarjung Enclave. It’s a nice residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road. Most of what we do involves the tollway and the roads, which is funny because our office is so peaceful. We spend our days looking at spreadsheets, dealing with maintenance reports, and making sure the toll booths are running okay. It’s not just about collecting money; there’s a lot of infrastructure work that people don’t see from their cars. We have engineers coming in and out, usually covered in a bit of road dust from being out on the sites. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of people in this building. It’s a relatively small group of us here in Safdarjung. We have our tea breaks in the afternoon and complain about the heat like everyone else. The work is mostly about keeping things moving smoothly so people can get where they’re going. Sometimes there are issues with the gates or the software, and we have to scramble to get it fixed. It’s a lot of behind-the-scenes coordination. We’ve been operating from this enclave for a while now. It’s a steady job with its own set of daily challenges. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just manage the tollway and try to keep the roads in decent shape for the drivers.
