Our office is tucked away in Flat No-165 within the Sfs Flats at Munirka Vihar. It is a residential neighborhood, so things stay relatively quiet compared to the main roads of New Delhi. We decided to set up our workspace in this flat because it feels more relaxed than a cold, glass office building. There is a small kitchen where we make our own lunch and a main room that is now mostly taken up by monitors and a mess of tangled cables. We are not some huge company with a lobby; it is just us here in the Vihar. You have to walk up the stairs and pass by the neighbors' doors to find us. We have been working on software projects for a good bit of time now. Sometimes you can hear the kids playing in the park outside through the windows, which is actually quite nice. We do not have any big signs outside or fancy decorations. It is just a simple flat where the work gets done every day. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of our lists. The space is a little bit tight because of all the computer gear we have piled up, but we have made it work for us. Munirka Vihar is a decent place to be, even if parking can be a headache sometimes. We just show up, do our bit, and keep the systems running.
