Globe Travel City

Our travel shop is located at 60 Dilshad Garden in the Hari Nagar area. If you know where the Sulabh Complex is, we are right near there. It’s a small office with a couple of desks and a lot of old posters on the walls. We’ve been helping people with their train tickets and flight bookings for quite a while now. Most of our neighbors come to us because they find the online systems a bit confusing or they just want to talk to a real person. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a sleek lobby. It’s just a place where we sit down with a cup of tea and figure out the best way to get someone from point A to point B. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the clock ticking. We handle a lot of local travel, but also the occasional international trip for families visiting relatives abroad. It’s a lot of typing and checking schedules on the screen. We try to keep things simple. We aren't a big travel portal. We’re just a few people in Dilshad Garden who know how the systems work. The door is usually open to let in a bit of air, and we know most of the people who walk past. It’s a decent way to earn a living and help our neighbors see a bit more of the world.
