Chandel Technologies

Khan Market has a certain reputation, but the Middle Lane is where the real work happens. We are at number 58, Lodhi Estate, tucked away from the main fancy shops. Chandel Technologies is our small operation where we deal with all sorts of tech issues. The space is a bit tight, as is usually the case in this part of town, so we have to be careful where we stack the boxes. Most days involve a lot of typing and looking at hardware that isn't behaving. It’s not a shiny corporate office with a receptionist. You just walk in and see us working at our desks. The light in the lane isn’t great, but we have good lamps inside to see the tiny circuits we work on. We’ve stayed here because it’s a central spot, even if the parking is a nightmare for anyone trying to visit. People usually find us by word of mouth or by wandering down the lane looking for help. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for photos. It is a functional workspace for people who actually use their hands and brains to fix things. We get our tea from the stall nearby and keep at it until the sun goes down over Lodhi Estate. It is just how we’ve always done it here in the middle of everything. It's a bit of a maze getting here if you don't know the lane.
