If you come down to Vasundhara Enclave in Munirka, you'll find us at number 19. Bhatia Tractors Spares has been here quite a while. The shop is filled with all sorts of metal parts, gears, and things that smell like oil and grease. It’s not the tidiest place, but we know where almost everything is kept. If someone needs a specific part for an old tractor, we usually have to dig through the back shelves to find it. People come in with broken parts in their hands, asking if we have a replacement that actually fits. We spend a lot of time looking at catalogs or just comparing pieces by hand to make sure they match up. The floors are usually a bit stained because of the nature of the business. It’s a local spot where farmers or mechanics drop by to see what we have. Sometimes we just sit and talk about how the weather is affecting the work out in the fields or the local news. We aren't trying to be a big showroom; we are just a parts shop. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved when the new stock arrives from the suppliers. We get crates of spares and have to organize them before the next customer walks in through the door. It’s steady work. We open early and stay until the sun goes down and we can finally lock the gate. That’s just the daily routine for us here in Munirka.
