Ashish Kashyap

You can find me, Ashish Kashyap, over at Rzg-272 in Raj Nagar-2. This is part of Palam Colony in New Delhi, and if you’ve ever been here, you know how crowded these lanes can get. The address is a bit of a maze to find if you aren't from around here. It’s a tight-knit neighborhood where everyone lives and works right on top of each other. My office is just a small room in the building. It’s not very big, but it fits everything I need. The walls are a plain color and I have a calendar hanging up to keep track of the days. Delhi is always noisy, with planes from the airport flying overhead and scooters buzzing through the streets. You get used to the sound after a while. I spend most of my day sitting at my desk, handling the paperwork and answering the phone. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of life. There’s no corporate ladder or big meetings here. It’s just me and the occasional visitor who stops by for a chat or to settle some business. I usually grab lunch from a local place nearby; the food is better than anything you'd find in a fancy cafeteria. I like being in Palam because everything is within reach, even if it’s a bit chaotic. It’s a real place for real work, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep our heads down and get through the week.
