Art Aangan

Art Aangan is over in Dwarka Sector 10 at 15A. It’s a nice little corner where we keep a lot of supplies like paints, brushes, and big rolls of paper. The space usually smells a bit like linseed oil and clay, which most of us have grown to like. We have big tables where people can spread out their work. It’s not the most organized place in the world because there are always half-finished projects sitting on the shelves. We try to keep the floor clean, but paint spills happen more often than we’d like to admit. The windows let in some decent light during the morning, which helps when we are trying to get the colors right. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who enjoy being around creative stuff. It’s more of a community feel than a business. We have some old chairs that aren't very comfortable, but nobody seems to mind once they start working. There’s a small cupboard where we keep snacks and tea for when we take breaks. It’s a place where you can get your hands dirty and not worry too much about making a mess. We aren't trying to be a high-end gallery. It’s just a practical space for making things and hanging out with other people who like to do the same. Sometimes we forget to turn off the radio, so music plays all night in the empty studio.
