Working at Dwarka Sector 10 Central Market G 4 means we are right in the middle of everything. It’s loud out there most of the time. Arora Realtors Pvt Ltd is just a small office where we handle whatever comes through the door. Usually, it’s someone looking for a flat in one of the societies or a shop space nearby. We don’t have a big marketing team. It’s just a couple of us who know which buildings have good water supply and which ones have parking issues. We spend half our day on the phone and the other half walking to different blocks to meet people who may or may not show up on time. It’s a bit of a gamble. The market is always crowded, so just getting to the office can be a task. We keep our files in old cabinets and the computer is a bit slow, but it gets the job done. We’ve seen Dwarka change a lot over the years. Some new buildings go up, others get renovated. We just stay in the loop. It’s not a fancy life. We drink a lot of chai from the stall downstairs and talk about property rates with anyone who stops by. There’s no big secret to what we do; we just know the local streets and who owns what. Sometimes we take a quick lunch break at the local corner, but mostly we are just here at the desk waiting for the next call.
