Haiba Mankachar Farmer Producer Companylimited

We are based in Jordanga Pt-I, which is near Mankachar in the Dhubri district. Our office is just at Nur Alom’s house. This is a farmer producer company, so it’s really just a collective of local people who grow things for a living. Mankachar is right on the edge of the state, and things can be a bit slow out here sometimes. We do not have a big corporate structure or anything like that. We just gather around and decide what needs to be done for the season. We deal with all sorts of farming issues, from getting decent fertilizer to finding buyers for our crops. It is not easy work and the sun can be really brutal some days. We do not use fancy language or try to sound like we are some big shot city company. We are just farmers. Sometimes we have issues with transport because we are a bit far out, but we make it work somehow. We focus on what is right in front of us. If a neighbor’s crop is failing, we try to see how the company can help. It is about sticking together and making sure we can all keep our farms running. We do not have any big goals other than survival. We just want to work the land and sell what we grow so we can take care of our families. That is the long and short of it.
