Operating out of Plot No. 84 in the Kundaim Gidc is a busy way to live for the folks at Siddharhta Milk & Milk Products Pvt. Ltd. North Goa is beautiful, but the industrial estate is where the real work happens. We get the milk deliveries very early in the morning, usually while most people are still sleeping. The trucks pull up to the dock and we have to move fast to get everything processed and cooled down. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the machines are running exactly right. Our team is a mix of local people who know the dairy business inside and out. The floors are almost always wet because we are constantly washing things down to keep everything tidy. We have a small office space at the front of the building, but most of us spend our time on the production floor. It can get quite humid in the afternoons, but the fans keep the air moving. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. We're just a group of people making milk products in a quiet corner of Kundaim. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble to get the backup generators started, which is always a bit of a headache. But that's just part of running a factory. We take pride in the fact that our products go out to families all over the region. It’s a simple life, focused on the daily routine of the dairy.
