Our office is in Flat 503 at Confraria Enclave in Vaddem. It’s a bit different than being in a big industrial park. It works for us. Since we are in a flat, it feels a bit more like a home than a cold office building. We have our desks set up with all the gear and computers. The shelves are mostly overflowing with old files and project folders from years ago. Vaddem is a decent place to be based. Parking can be a bit of a struggle if you arrive too late in the morning. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and working out technical details on the screen. Sometimes we have to head out to sites. The office stays quiet for a few hours while we are on the road. When we are all here, there’s a lot of talk about specs and how to solve certain design problems. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, if you knock on the door, one of us will just get up and let you in. We make our own coffee and just get through the pile of work on our desks. It’s a simple setup. This is where all the planning happens before anything actually gets built. We like the quiet of the enclave when we really need to focus on a difficult calculation. It gets the job done.
