Flashback Wedding Films Company is right on the ground floor near Citi Cafe. If you are driving along the State Highway in Fatorda, you have probably passed us a few times. Being near the cafe is great because we end up spending way too much money on coffee and snacks. The office is usually a bit of a mess because we have cameras, tripods, and cables lying around on almost every surface. It is a creative space, I guess you could say, but really it is just where we sit for hours staring at screens and trying to cut video together. When wedding season hits, things get really chaotic around here. We are constantly charging batteries and backing up hard drives. The noise from the highway outside is always there, but we have gotten used to the sound of the bikes and cars zooming by. It is just a small team of us. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. Most people just walk in and see us hunched over our desks. We spend a lot of time talking about lighting and how to make sure we didn't miss a shot. It is a lot of work, and sometimes we are here quite late at night when a deadline is close. It is just what we do, sitting here in Fatorda and trying to make something that looks okay. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just making films.
