Atish Ruchik

Atish Ruchik is right here inside the Bits Pilani campus in Zuarinagar. If you are looking for us, we are in the middle of all the student activity in Vasco Da Gama. This place is always full of young people who are usually in a hurry to get to their next class or finishing up a long study session. We stay open late because that’s when the students are most hungry. It’s not a quiet restaurant. There is always the sound of people talking about exams or life. We serve simple food that reminds people of home. The kitchen is small and we have to be very organized to make sure everyone gets their food on time. I’ve been working here for a while and I’ve seen many batches of students come and go. It’s a busy life, standing behind the counter and taking orders all day. We don't have fancy menus or table service. You just come up, tell us what you want, and we make it as fast as we can. Sometimes we run out of things because it’s hard to tell how many people will show up on a Friday night. We just do our best to keep things moving. It’s a practical kind of place for people who just need a decent meal before they go back to their books. We aren't fancy, but we keep the students fed and that is what matters to us.
