Fantastic Computers

You can find Fantastic Computers over in Saipem, Candolim. We are in House Number 1733, which is a bit away from the main tourist beaches, which we actually prefer. Working in Goa is nice, but the salt in the air really does a number on electronics, so we stay pretty busy fixing things. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where there are parts and wires everywhere. People from the village come in when their laptops stop working or if they need a new cable. Sometimes we get tourists who dropped their phones in the water, and we try to see what we can do. It’s a small family-run kind of thing. We don't have a big sign out front that lights up, just the house number and some people who know their way around a motherboard. The rainy season is always the toughest because of the power cuts, but we have a backup to keep the soldering irons going. We take things one day at a time here. If a repair takes longer, we just tell the customer honestly. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Bardez, just the one that people trust when their computer goes blue. It’s a quiet life here in Saipem, and we like keeping the business straightforward and local. We just fix what is broken and give people their gear back so they can get back to their lives.
