Durga Enterprises

Down here in Ponda, things move at their own pace. Durga Enterprises is situated in the Kamaxi Building, right in the Upper Bazar area. Being near Bagaidar Bagan makes it easy to find, though the streets around the market get pretty crowded on market days. It’s a North Goa location, but it’s not the touristy side people usually think of. It’s more of a working area. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. The office is just a simple room where we keep our records and handle the daily tasks. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and most of the neighbors know us by now. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get around, but the shop stays open. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us or hear about us from someone else in the district. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running and just keep working through it. There’s always some noise from the street outside, buses passing by and people shouting, but you get used to it after a week. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don’t have any fancy titles here; we just do what needs doing to keep the business moving. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy enough from morning until we close up for the evening.
