Computer Point Ponda-Goa

Computer Point is over in Silvanagar, Ponda, Goa. We operate out of Pandurang Chinchkar’s place. It’s a straightforward shop where we deal with computers and all the headaches that come with them. Being in Ponda, it’s a bit away from the beaches, so it feels more like a regular town where people are just living their lives. The shop is small and usually filled with half-disassembled laptops and tangled wires. It’s humid here, so we spend a lot of time cleaning out dust and fans that have stopped working. We aren't some high-tech service center with white uniforms. It’s usually just a couple of us in t-shirts, trying to figure out why a motherboard isn’t firing up. People from around Silvanagar come in when their kids' school computers break or when they need a new mouse. We have a couple of old chairs for customers to sit on while we run diagnostics. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the local football scores or the rain. It’s a slow-paced kind of place, and we like it that way. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything; people just know us because we’ve been here for a while. We just do the repairs, hand back the machines, and hope they last a long time. There's always some coffee around if the morning is slow, and we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze we can get.
