Civil Incharge

We've been running Civil Incharge here in Margao for a while now. It's just a small office in Goa where we handle the day-to-day stuff. Most people around here know where to find us. It's not a fancy place, just somewhere to get work done. We spend a lot of time out on sites, so sometimes the office is a bit quiet. Usually, someone is around though. Dealing with construction and oversight takes up most of the week. The humidity here can be tough on the paperwork sometimes, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit in town, just doing our bit. There's always something going on with local projects. Some days are longer than others, especially when the weather isn't helping much. We keep our tools and plans ready to go. It’s pretty straightforward work really. Being based in Goa means we see a lot of different types of builds. We just focus on what’s in front of us. If you're walking through the area, you might see us coming and going. It’s a busy life but we like it that way. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things move along. The office keeps us organized even when things get a bit messy outside. We have a couple of old desks and plenty of maps. The floor is a bit scuffed from boots, but it's a real working space. We just keep our heads down and do the work. When the monsoon hits, the sound of the rain on the roof makes it hard to hear anyone on the phone, but that's just life in Goa for you.
