It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the center of the city, but it’s a lot more peaceful out here in the village. Maya Singh’s place is where we’ve set up shop. The godown nearby is a big landmark, so we usually tell people to look for that first. Being out here means we don't have to deal with the crazy traffic of the main roads. It’s mostly just us and the local sounds of the village. The office is pretty basic, just the essentials really. We have our computers and some basic furniture, nothing fancy at all. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the trucks going to the godown, but we keep things as clean as we can. We usually bring our own lunch or get something simple from the nearby stalls. It’s a very grounded way of working. There aren't any high-pressure meetings or corporate jargon flying around here. We just know what needs to get done and we do it. The air feels a bit fresher out here by the aerodrome too. It’s a good spot for us to just focus on our stuff without distractions.
