Genesis Technical Services Private Limited is right in the middle of everything at 405, Lajpat Nagar Market. If you know the market, you know it can get pretty crowded and loud, but we like being where the action is. Our office is up on the fourth floor. It’s a small space, but we’ve made it work over the years. We have a lot of history in this building. The elevator is a bit temperamental, so a lot of us just take the stairs to stay moving. Inside, we have our desks lined up and there are stacks of manuals and spare parts in the corners. We aren't the kind of place that cares about having the latest designer furniture. We just want chairs that are comfortable enough for a long day. Most of our work is about solving technical issues for other businesses. We don't do a lot of talking about ourselves; we just get on with it. Sometimes the noise from the market leaks in, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s actually nice to step out for a minute and be right in the center of things. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Lajpat Nagar, but we’ve managed to stick around by just being honest and doing the work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just one that people can rely on when things get messy. It is hard work but it is worth it.
