Western Digital has its local setup at Ansal Plaza, specifically units 205, 206, and 207. Nehru Place is a chaotic area, as anyone who has been here knows. It’s the heart of the computer market, so we’re right where we need to be. Having three units side by side helps us manage the stock and the office work. It’s usually a whirlwind of activity with people coming in and out. We handle a lot of storage devices and hard drives. The shelves are filled with boxes, and there’s usually a technician testing something in the corner. It’s noisy and busy, but that’s just Nehru Place life for you. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. The elevators are always full, so we often end up taking the stairs to the second floor. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a distribution and service hub. You’ll see wires everywhere and people talking loudly over the sound of the traffic outside. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. It’s a practical workspace, not some corporate lounge with soft music. We know our regulars by name, mostly the guys from the smaller shops nearby. Every day is different, but it always revolves around storage and helping people get their hardware sorted. It’s a tough environment but we’ve made it our own over the years. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
