Venu Eye Institute & Research Centre

Down here in Khanpur, specifically at D 136 in Krishna Park, things stay pretty active. We are located near Can Bridge School, so we get a lot of noise from the kids in the afternoons. The institute is a big part of this area. It’s not just a small clinic; there’s a lot going on inside. We have researchers and doctors all over the place. It can feel a bit like a maze if you’re new, but you get used to the layout. The building has seen a lot of years. We try to keep the equipment updated even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint here and there. People come from quite far away to get their eyes checked here. The waiting room is usually full of people reading newspapers or chatting while they wait for their turn. It’s a grounded kind of place. We don’t have those fancy coffee machines or plush carpets. It’s just tiled floors and rows of plastic chairs. The staff knows how to handle the crowds. Sometimes the line for the pharmacy gets long, but we try to keep it moving. It’s an honest day’s work for everyone here. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, watching the neighborhood change around us. There's a tea stall just around the corner where the staff usually goes during the mid-day break. You can hear the bustle of the Krishna Park area.
