Our office is tucked away in Zakir Nagar, over at Mugal Apartment on Street 22. If you know Jamia Nagar in New Delhi, you know how busy it gets around here. We do engineering and construction work throughout the city. Dealing with Delhi traffic is a huge part of our day, honestly. Moving equipment and getting the team to different sites takes a lot of timing. Being a small private firm, it is mostly just us working through the blueprints and making sure the sites are running okay. It is a bit cramped in the office sometimes with all the paperwork and files piled up, but we make it work. The address is D-2, 49/2, and most people find us by asking around the neighborhood. Construction in a place like Delhi means dealing with tight spaces and old buildings. Every project has its own set of problems you did not see coming. Most of the time is spent on the phone with suppliers or out on-site checking the foundations. It is not a glamorous job, just a lot of dust and loud machines and making sure things are level. We have been at this for a while now. The people in the apartment building know us well. We just try to be honest about what can be done and how long it is going to take. Some days are longer than others, especially when a delivery is late or the weather is not helping.
