Our office is at D66 in Shaheen Bagh, which is part of the Jamia Nagar area. It is a lively neighborhood with a lot of people walking around and bikes squeezing through the narrow lanes every day. We have our workspace set up here with our computers and big tables for looking at drawings and plans. It is not a huge space but it fits what we need for the work we do. Most of the time it is just the sound of typing and some talking when we are trying to figure out a technical problem. We have been in Shaheen Bagh for a while now. The building isn't new but it is sturdy enough for us. We usually get our lunch from one of the small food spots nearby since there are plenty of options around Jamia Nagar. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit for it to come back, but we just use that time to stretch our legs outside. Engineering work takes a lot of focus so we try to keep the noise down inside, even if it is loud outside on the street. People sometimes walk past the door and peek in, wondering what we are doing with all those diagrams on the screens. We do not have any big signs out front, just the address on the door. It is a quiet way to work. We just focus on the tasks and try to stay organized.
