We spend most of our time here at Bakshi House, right in the middle of the Nehru Place rush. If you’ve ever been to Plot No 307, you know how it gets during the afternoon heat. It is a bit loud outside with all the people and cars, but inside we just focus on the networking stuff. Most days are just us sitting around desks piled with cables and routers. There is usually a stray coffee cup or two near the keyboards. Telixsoft Networks Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a while now. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just some sturdy chairs and plenty of screens. Sometimes the internet acts up which is funny considering what we do. We mostly deal with local folks who need their systems sorted out without too much fuss. People drop by, sometimes they call first, sometimes they don't. We just take things as they come. It is a lot of troubleshooting and trying to figure out why a server isn't talking to another one. We don't have a big reception desk or a person in a suit greeting everyone. Usually, you just walk in and see one of us working on a laptop. It is a practical way to run things. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by, even if the parking is a total nightmare most days.
