Taneja Clinic

We are located in the DDA flats area of Madangir, specifically at number 20/569. It’s a very busy part of Delhi, with lots of families living close together. The clinic is a small spot where we see people for all sorts of everyday health problems. It could be a cough that won’t go away or someone needing their blood pressure checked. We don’t have a lot of space, so things can feel a bit cramped when it’s busy, but we make it work. There’s a small desk where we keep the register and the chairs in the waiting area are usually full by mid-morning. We know many of the people who walk through the door because they’ve lived in these flats for years. It’s a very grounded place to work. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood outside all day long—vendors calling out and kids playing. Inside, we just focus on the patient in front of us. The lights sometimes flicker a bit, and the paint isn’t perfect, but the medical side of things is what matters. We keep our supplies organized in the back cabinets and try to stay on top of the cleaning. It’s a simple life here at the clinic. We show up, see the patients, and help out where we can. It’s just a regular part of the Madangir community and we’ve gotten used to the daily rhythm of the place, even when things get a bit chaotic.
