Working out of Malviya Nagar in New Delhi is always an experience. It’s one of those parts of the city that never really sleeps. Our office is tucked away here, where we handle structural engineering tasks. The streets outside are usually packed with cars and people heading to the market or the metro station. Inside, it’s a bit different. We try to keep it quiet so we can focus on the math and the drawings. New Delhi has a lot of old and new buildings, and we see a bit of everything across our desks. There is always a hum of activity, either from the AC or the traffic outside on the main Malviya Nagar roads. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. It’s just a workspace with a lot of computers and some very large printers for the layouts. Sometimes we go out to get some street food for lunch when we’ve been staring at the screen for too long. The name of the firm is a bit cut off in some records as Structural Engg And, but people around here just know us for the engineering work we do. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and making sure they understand the specs. It’s a busy life in Delhi, and we are just another small part of the fabric here in Malviya Nagar. We don't mind the noise much anymore; it’s just part of the daily grind for us here.
