Shweta'S Dental Clinic

You can find us at D-42 in Kalkaji, very close to the local post office. Being near the post office means people are always coming and going right outside our door. It’s a busy street with lots of shops and families living in the flats upstairs. Our clinic is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for older folks who can't deal with the stairs. We have a small front area with some blue plastic chairs. The paint on the walls is starting to peel a bit in the corners but we don't mind much. We spend most of our time in the back room where the main equipment is kept. There is a small window that looks out into a back alley. It’s not much of a view but it lets in some sun during the afternoon. We have a clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly when the room is empty. Usually, it's not quiet though because of the cars honking and people talking outside. My cousin helps out with the paperwork sometimes when it gets too much for me to handle alone. We use a lot of paper forms and keep them in plastic folders. Kalkaji is a crowded place so we see a lot of different people every single day. Some people just stop by to say hello while they are running errands. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea. It’s just a basic local spot where we do our daily work.
