Ayushman Dental Clinic

We run the Ayushman Dental Clinic over here in Amar Colony, Lajpat Nagar-IV. The clinic is on the ground floor of building D 72, so people don't have to worry about stairs. It’s a cozy space, maybe a bit cramped when we have three or four people waiting at once. We’ve got the dental chairs set up in the back and a small desk in the front where we keep the patient files. Lajpat Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always someone walking by or popping their head in to ask about prices for a cleaning or a filling. We see a lot of kids from the neighborhood who are a bit scared of the drill, so we try to keep things calm. The equipment is well-used but we keep it all scrubbed and ready. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we have to wait a bit for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in Delhi. We don't have a big staff, just the dentist and a couple of assistants who help with the instruments and the cleaning. We spend a lot of time talking to the aunties from the colony who come in for their check-ups. It’s a friendly atmosphere, not like those big corporate hospitals where nobody knows your name. We just do our jobs, fix some teeth, and close up for dinner. It is a very normal neighborhood dental practice.
