Shruti Kothari Dental Clinic is located on the second floor on RI Fort Road. If you are looking for us, we are right next to Sama Nursing Home, which most people in this area already know. Being on the second floor means there is a bit of a climb if you don't take the lift, but it keeps us away from the direct noise of the street level. Fort Road is always humming with cars and people, so being one floor up helps a little with the quiet. We have been here for a bit, and the space is simple. We have the dental chairs and the tools, and not much else in the way of decoration. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't spend much time worrying about how the lobby looks as long as it is clean and there is a place to sit. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit dark if a bulb goes out, but we fix it when we can. Working next to a nursing home means there are always doctors and patients around the building. It’s a medical sort of atmosphere. We see a lot of local families who walk over from the nearby houses. Most of our day is just checking teeth and talking to the regulars. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. We just open the doors and wait for the first appointment.
