Sethi Engineering Works

Sethi Engineering Works is located in the Okhla Industrial Estate Phase I, on the main road at Dda Flats C-39. This is a very active part of Delhi for any kind of mechanical or engineering work. Our workshop is right there on the ground level, which makes it easy to bring in heavy parts or machinery. The floor is almost always covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few old lathes and drills that have been with us since the beginning. It’s a noisy place when the machines are all running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. We are just a small group of guys who know how to work with our hands. We don't have a polished office or a waiting room with magazines. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in our overalls working on a specific piece of equipment. Okhla can be a tough place with the traffic and the heat, but we’ve made a home here at C-39. We don't have any fancy brochures about what we do. People just bring us things that need fixing or parts that need making, and we get to work. It’s honest labor and it fills our days from Monday to Saturday. We’ve been part of the local industrial scene for years, and we just keep doing what we know how to do. It’s a good living for us.
