Our workshop is at 112/D in the Okhla Industrial Estate Phase I. We are tucked into one of those DSIDC sheds, which are pretty common around here. Being near the police station makes it easy for people to find us if they get lost in the industrial area. It’s a loud place, to be honest. There’s always the sound of machines running or someone hammering on metal. Rapid Engineering has been part of this landscape for a while. We aren't into the whole modern office look. Our floors have oil spots, and there are metal shavings in the corners. It’s a real engineering shop. We have some heavy equipment and tools that we’ve used for years. The guys here know how to handle the machines and they don’t mind getting their hands dirty. Every day is different depending on what kind of job comes through the door. Some days it’s quiet, and other days it’s a total rush to get things finished. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just work with metal and machines. The heat in the sheds can be a bit much during the summer months, but we just drink more water and keep going. We like being in Okhla. It feels like everyone is actually making something here. We’re just one of those shops trying to do the work right and stay busy throughout the whole week.
