Ninety Nine General Pvt. Ltd. is found at Plot No. D-169, Okhla, Phase-I. If you have ever been to Okhla, you know how the traffic can be. It is an industrial area through and through. Our unit is surrounded by other factories and workshops. There is always the sound of trucks reversing and the smell of grease or exhaust in the air. We deal with general goods of all kinds. Our office is just a small room partitioned off from the main storage space. It’s full of cardboard boxes and packing tape. We don't have a professional receptionist or a waiting area. People usually just walk into the warehouse and find one of us. We spend most of our time on the phone with suppliers or checking the stock levels. It gets incredibly hot in the summer months and the tin roof doesn't help much, but we have some big industrial fans that keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi. We just want to keep the operations running smoothly. Most of us take the bus to work and meet up at the local dhaba for a quick meal. It’s a bit of a rough area, but we like the people here. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. There is always something that needs sorting out or a truck to be loaded before night.
